With Ladies and Gentlemen over 60 and with the choreographers Chrystel Guillebeaud and Jorge Puerta Armenta in collaboration with the tanzcHor60+ of the Bergische Musikschule Wuppertal
Originally, this project was going to be a workshop in which participants and choreographers could meet face to face. But because of the new lockdown, they are now meeting online and working intensively on Zoom.
The restrictions open up new ways of thinking and force us to move in totally new spaces. Rehearsing via video conference means entering a new, unknown territory.
The work that Chrystel and Jorge explored with the participants involved joyful experimentation with their bodies, their voices and their smartphones, resulting in a collaborative film project. Other online encounters also featured Richard Siegal.
